What to expect

  • RAPID is a movement-based technique that is provided fully clothed. It is highly recommended that you wear comfortable clothing that you can move freely in. No denim is a requirement, so please bring a change of clothes if necessary
  • The therapist will assess the affected area at the beginning of the treatment, and will reassess throughout to ensure the root cause of the issue is addressed
  • The movement phase of the treatment may be uncomfortable. This occurs because the neurological system is being stimulated to restore normal function and reduce pain
  • Sessions are shorter than a traditional massage due to the highly focused nature of the treatment
  • Immediately after treatment, areas treated tend to feel lighter, looser and less painful
  • The day following a treatment you can expect to feel some stiffness and soreness. In some cases, people experience a temporary flare-up of symptoms. This is a positive sign as the body adapts and integrates the treatment
